Is there any sort of program that anyone would recommend I could make as a way to learn C#?
I have Visual Studio 2010 and I like the way the language is so far, and I will hopefully keep learning it and enjoy it.
There are lots of tutorials and ideas online that you can use. Most of them will at least point you in the right direction. From there it's mostly just looking for the kinds of things you want to do. I think qazz made a calculator, so that might be a nice step after you've read through some tutorials.
I'd say you should make a text editor or a simple paint program when you are ready for GUI.

But stuff like Fibonacci quizes, hello worlds, cat programs while still developing C# Console Applications.
1. Yes, I did make a calculator, thank you very much Merth Razz

2. Get John Smiley's book, learn to program with C#. it is slightly outdated, but is a very valuable tool nonetheless. (yeah, it is not something you make, but it has TONS of sample programs you can practice with)

3. make a messaage box with an exclamation point, with 2 options, ok and cancel. NAIO SLAVE MUHUWAHAHA! Razz
I also made a calculator once ;D
