In response to a supposedly super biased report on Wiki-leaks source Bradley Manning, a group hackers gained access to the main website through an outdated Linux exploit, and because PBS used the same password across multiple systems(retards), were able to do much more damage. The best part though was a fake front page article stating Tupac was alive:

The Most Awesome Person on the Planet, on PBS's own website, wrote:
Prominent rapper Tupac has been found alive and well in a small resort in New Zealand, locals report. The small town - unnamed due to security risks - allegedly housed Tupac and Biggie Smalls (another rapper) for several years.


This nearly brought a tear to my eye, I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful hack in my life...
