I'm trying to start programming in z80 assembly. The book "programming the ti 83 plus/84 plus" says that the Doors CS SDK is the best and has everything you need inside it, but I want to program assembly for the ti 84 plus and the ti 84 plus CSE, and that means I have to download the Doors CS 7 & 8 SDK. Wabbitemu has 1 SDK for all calculator models and that's what I downloaded. Is using Wabbitemu a good idea? Also, what is the best tutorial for programming z80 assembly for the ti 84 plus and ti 84 plus CSE?
z80 assembly is the same language regardless of what other hardware is connected or what other software libraries are present. Learn that well and switching between 84+SE and 84+CSE will be pretty trivial.
