Turning off the CE's LCD

I know there was a thread about this somewhere, but I failed to find it.
I would like to know how to turn off the TI-84 Plus CE's LCD, by this I do not mean turning the brightness to 255 with a black background. I would also like to be able to continue running code, as the LCD will just be off and not the whole calculator.

I'm working in C, but I thought this was more of an eZ80 question.
