The graphics you shared in the first post are simultaneously some of the most obnoxious and some of the most impressive I've seen in my recent memory. Great work, and I'd love to see more.

Well, do you have any tips on how can I improve it? (Note that I have removed the rotating points if that's what annoys you)

I think being obnoxious fits the style quite well, and I wouldn't change a thing :)
The game has now entered its final stages of development. The only missing feature right now is achievements. Other than that, only polishing and bug fixes remain. So, I can safely assume that BBRG would be done by the end of the month.
I may need some recommendations for achievements. These are the current ones:

- Run BBRG for the first time.
- Complete a chart.
- Complete 30 charts.
- Complete a random chart. (The reason this exists is because random charts are quite long, something around 6 to 10 minutes)
- Have a perfect score on a random chart. (Again, same as the previous, plus it is slightly harder to maintain all perfect notes for that long)
- Have a total 24 hours of gameplay time.

In my view, the game needs some goals to accomplish that require some difficulty, something only present in one of the implemented achievements. Help would be immensely appreciated.
If you can measure how many right in a row then getting 10 charts in a row perfect

I do have combos implemented, though I don't really get what you mean.

On the topic of combos, right now as long as you hit the note the counter is incremented, regardless of the note timing. Should I change this so that only perfect notes increase the combo counter?
Maybe not just perfect but like good or higher
Finally, after two months, the first release of Basic Basic Revolution: The Graphical is now available! It has been uploaded to the archives, now we just wait for it to be accepted. Smile

But there's something I didn't manage to do Surprised ... And that's achievements. I didn't want to postpone the release even more, so I have decided that I will fully implement them for the next release. I sincerely apologize for this.

For the next update, I plan to re-do high score storage to hold more information about each track, and of course, add achievements, and maybe try to make the notes look like actual arrows. Unrelated to the main project, I may finally start working on a chart editor.

Feel free to reply to this topic if you want any other features or have a bug report. Very Happy
Wow, this looks really good! It's one of the best TI-BASIC games (pure BASIC, no less) that I've seen as of late. Great job! Very Happy

Currently, the only note timings that I have implemented are Early, Perfect, and Late, though there is a chance I may change that.
