Hmm, where to begin. Basically, I was driving along, and had this awesome idea for a game, based off of AOEII.
The system would be a Deathmatch. This would be set where you have "Drones" as military units ("hand to hand" combat), "Gunners" would be the equivalent to the Archers, and any other name one could come up with for other types of unit.
The buildings types would be:
Central Core - This is the main processing plant, equivalent to a Town Center, maintains life for 10 worker drones. Can have up to 3 on a map.
Drone module - This module allows for up to 15 Drones to be active
Gunner Module - This module allows for up to 10 Gunners to be active.
Etc
The concept is, the modules are the promary power source of the units. The more units, the weaker overall defense and life is, and the weaker the shield for the module is. If the module is destroyed, so to is all the units.
If anyone would be up to making a game like this in asm or c for either the z80 or the 68k, you would be a popular person.
