I forget what it was called, but Void Productions seems to have stopped work on it. Maybe Cemetech should pick it up and finish it? Am I mistaken on Void stopping work on it? Would they even let you? It looked like a good game to me, it's a shame Void died out...

It was here: The legend of Zelda: Shadows of the Past Click Projects. I think it was the first project. The site is pretty much dead.
Cemetech isn't exactly free to take on projects at the moment, with DCS 6 and the contests and such Wink .
Shock Good point. Then maybe save this for later?
I am also pretty sure that this has been rewritten atleast twice and passed through atleast 2 different people. It is a pretty extensive project, but it seems like most of the major stuff is done.
Confused Umm, what? Are you talking about Doors CS? Or are you saying that the Legend of Zelda project has already been brought up?
I was referring to the link to the past project, and i just looked at it and it says it has had 3 complete rewrites and 2 graphic overhauls Razz .
But how long ago was that? Check your dates.
Yeah, that was a while ago. I bet it's not that far from being finished. Any good ASM programmers (cough Chip cough) who might want to pick this one up?
I think there are a few things left like shops to design, and maybe a few maps (and on the overhauls and stuff, i was just saying that, not that it should effect someone taking the project).
That's it?! You mean the game engine is complete, it just need graphics and data? That would be tres uber easy...
From what I gathered (i played it a bit), the shop does not work, and there does need to be more data, but I am really sure that almost all the engine is done. Maybe ask the guy who makes it what is left to be done.

But hey, you don't need me to tell you! Here is a link to the area of the site that has it Here

I was just looking at that and realized that the last news post was on June 2002!
Wow, that's really something. I'd love to help out with that once I get some of my other projects cleared out of the way.
I don't know if you did yet or not, but I would post this info on Omnimaga.

Mmm, seems to me that they're mostly BASIC programmers around there. Only Maxcoderz and [possibly] DetachedS would really be places for ASM programmers in addition to here.
So...any considerations to pick this one up? Maybe after DCS6 is released?
I downloaded the file, there is no source code. That would make things quite interesting to try to pickup where he left off. I will search ticalc though and see what I find...

Doesn't look like the source itself has been released. You will have to decompile the program itself, and guess at the meaning of things...
Or e-mail the author and ask for the source, as if it is a dead project, (s)he would probably be more than glad to supply it to someone to finish it.
Looks interesting if no one picks this up I may fidle with it as I learn asm this summer, exspecaily if some one how knows alot about asm can help me. Smile
