It can't seem to see the calculator. Gives me warnings about 'cable not initialized', and about permissions on the USB hardware. Anyone have any idea how to correct these errors? I'm not new to Linux, but haven't gone to deep into the libraries, not sure where they are in the filesystem. The calc is aTI-89 Titanium.
You probably need to set up udev rules for the cable. Alternately (easier but less correct), run tilp as root.

@Tari

You called it, I went to a terminal window, and typed in 'sudo Tilp', and it works perfectly. Thanks!
