This is on a brand new calculator. On the lowest brightness, and on auto dim, I see a visible flicker (caused by PWM backlight?). Other people can't see it and some can. Is this normal? It seems kind of bad quality.
at my middle school we had class sets of nspires and some did it and some didnt. have you tried to hit the reset button on the back?

Seems to be normal. Other people have it too and mine also does it from day one. Just ignore it. It is a good calc otherwise.
Looks like the Nspire backlighting was PWNed, but I think it's normal.
