i have a ti-83 and when i was browsing through "ti83asm.inc" there was a lot of rom calls that i did not understand what they did and there was also about half that i did understand. Is there any place that i can find a table that explains them all so that i do not have to experiment and get frustrated with my calculator and the code because my hardware crashed.

The TI83plusSDK will explain them all in detail. You can find it at education.ti.com.

i downloaded the 83psysroutines since Kerm suggested it. and i guess i will also keep ti83asm open to search and see if it applies to my 83.

Most will apply to it.
