I was recently given a calculator to fix, as the screen would not turn on. I took it home, and to my surprise, the batteries were missing! I quickly replaced them in hopes of the calculator turning on. It did, but the situation was not much better than not on at all. Here are some badly taken images to show what I mean:
Initial problem. Contrast turned up. Two small bars seemingly permanently turned off
Strange blue pixels? This isn't the light. It shows when the graph screen is shown

I'm taking this to Cemetech to see if they have any ideas further than I do.
