yes there is global mod. you create a hidden group with moderator privileges. btw, you can't say phentermine anymore, which is why those bots have "IM A SPAMBOT" in their name

actually, any word in the censored list will be prevent by phpbb from showing up in a username.

Usercount stats are worthless if 40% are bots. That's like bragging about having a house with 40% built of toothpicks. It's not the right thing to do. I delete them because they are not worth having related to the forum (plus the links in the profiles allow Google to index the page). I'd have over 100 'users' listed in my forums if i just banned the IPs, but I'd rather show 20 people who actually exist rather than that and 80 stupid bots. It makes the memberlist MUCH harder to sort through and clogs up the database.
very true, I would prefer pure stats based on actually people signing up, not bots.
