Sounds like the first computer virus where the author *CLAIMED* that he was just trying to measure the size of the internet - until a bug caused it to keep spawning instances of itself slowing down infected computers
Besides it being illegal, it would cast a dark cloud over the project. Who would want to run F@H when it is associated with a worm?
Now now, do you think people would really consider it a good thing if you forcibly made their computer do good works? I doubt it.
