I was reading some of the simple tutorials on www.gimptalk.com and a lot of the pictures were blocked. But what surprised me was i could view some but not all of the pictures. When i right clicked on the image and clicked view image it told me it was blocked because it was no category. Is there anyway i can view the pictures so i can download the tutorials and take them home to view.
https://vtunnel.com
thanks kllrnohj hopefully school hasnt blocked this one yet.
if you remember to make it https instead of http (notice the "s"), then it is harder to block. Just to give you an idea on that, my school requires people log in to the proxy to surf the internet, and so it knows how to filter your stuff. If you use https there, you do not have to login, and most https sites work.
sweet i cant wait to try it out. dial up is way to slow for some of the tutorials on their site.
I tried that site and even with https it does not work does anyone know of any others that i can use to try and get to the tutorials with.
Try http://jpez.sobertillnoon.com/proxy
thanks Kerm that one worked

They might do keyword/content blocking, which would make it useless.

Shoudn't be too hard to just not put it in a folder on the server called 'proxy', and remove all the text... (so that its just the URL entry form)
