I like both some look better textured some look better simple.
I am also a bit undecided. Most of the simple ones look better but some of the textured ones look better too.
I think they both look like crap - the white->color->white gradient causes the top of each button to become annoyingly bright, and the "black" underneath it transitions to gray causing more ugliness (much more noticeable on the textured versions - which would probably look better than the simple style if it wasn't for the layer blending issues)...
Yeah, I would never have guessed you'd criticize it. Razz

It's actually white-->color-->lighter color.
You should try putting the layer with the 'design' ABOVE the gradients.
10-0 for simple.. hmmm.. I wonder which one you will use...

The current layer order, top to bottom:

Upper gradient
Design
Lower gradient
Background color

Yeah? So? At least try what I suggested rather than posting unneeded information - I'm only trying to help Razz (note I said "gradients" - implying any and all gradients).

how about this
Design
Upper
Lower
Background
That's what Kllrnohj was saying, Storm. In my opinion, that ruins the glass / glossy effect of the images.
I know that is what Kll was saying and I agree. If you can't tell what the button is for then it doesn't matter how glossy it is.
