I'm confused by this one. It worked fine for the first two but not the third. Maybe it's the < character not getting escaped correctly?

EDIT: This is weird:

My post came quite a while after his...

That first bug is a direct result of the greater and lesser than symbols, that second one. Is hard to pin since there are no time stamps :/
That's a glitch within saxjax rather than within SAX per se. I'll have to fix that at some point. I recommend the YChat (XChat 2) IRC client as being excellent and lightweight. If you have a lot of other IM accounts like AIM, YIM, GTalk, FB chat, etc, I recommend Trillian.
Seems saxjax has a slight issue with posting tinyurls:

Quote:
[23:02] <@tifreak> f=5&t=3&p=613#613 is what saxjax output, should have been f=5&p=624#p624

The links:

Code:
http://tifreakware.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3&p=613#613

Code:
http://tifreakware.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&p=624#p624
Can you clarify where the error lay? was it when saxjax's urls wandered from IRC to SAX? From SAX to IRC? Cemetech and TIFW's SAX, or just TIFW?
It was a post made on TIFW, that SAX picked up and forwarded to IRC. That is where the failure seems lies :<

Ah, I see. So when you followed the tinyurl from TIFW that saxjax posted on IRC, it expanded to a URL including the HTML codes for the ampersands? If so, that should be relatively easy to track down.
http://tifreakware.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=3&p=613#613 was the link that was shown on IRC (see post a couple above) and http://tifreakware.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&p=624#p624 is where it should have pointed to.
Wait, including the mismatch in post numbers? Shock
After checking, it's pulled the post above the one that was made. I think SAX might have a slightly broken grabber for proper forum posting

I find that very confusing, because it's a synchronous system that triggers inline with posting rather than something asynchronous that scans recently-updated pages for new posts to mention. Either way, I shall try to find some time to track the issue down.
Alright, thank you kind sir. And I'm not sure about the other issue, but we've never finished cleaning up all the issues of SAX for phpbb3. Maybe someday we can get them all figured out and packaged for others that might want to use it :p

I think that would be something very good to do! Poke me about it after January 17th, please; up until then my life is absolutely off the wall.
At least the TinyURL didn't redirect to an adult site like what happened with Netham45's bot once. Shock
In regards to the posted above problem, SAX there on the left of this site seems to link properly to the post, http://tifreakware.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=153&p=0#0

saxjax spit this out as a link: http://tifreakware.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=153&p=0#0

So is the problem something going on with SAX -> saxjax?

Would be nice if it would get rid of the &p=0#0 part, as well.

Fixed the first thing, not the second.
If you got the post number the script wouldn't know which page to go to. Unless we're referring to the fact it's 0. I wouldn't really bother with that anyways, it's a phpBB thing. Mod phpBB to omit it.
That's why it's there, because without it it wouldn't know which page to go to. Is that what you meant, comic? Thoughts, tifreak?
Thank you for making it spit out the proper link Very Happy

No problem, my sincere apologies for it taking so long for me to get to it. Sad But thoughts about the post/page thing?
Well, I was only saying what the forum link looks like when I make the post, it doesn't have that &p=0#0 part. So I figured it was something being added that wasn't needed..? Not really sure on that. I kind of figured the page was an automatic thing based on the post, I've not delved too deeply into building a forum in php as of yet :p
