I have to agree whole-heartedly with this comic. That's why I just pirated an entire TI emulator suite...

You "pirated" an emulator suite? What does that even mean? All of the emulators that I know of (Wabbitemu, Virtual TI, TiLem, TIEmu, even the TI Flash Debugger) are free-as-in-beer...
well I used a torrent from thepiratebay to download an entire collection that supported all the common models. I know my school uses some official TI Emulator on the smart board, so I assumed that's what I downloaded.

I'm sure that they don't, there is no official TI emulator. Is it called Virtual TI? I recall that the math teachers at my high school were just using VTI with not-very-legal ROM images. DShiznit, it's illegal for you to download ROM images except from your own calculators, and only if you own those calculators.
