I'll check it out, and post an update
okay. *goes to work on Blub page*
@Kuro: but that's not very constructive (the flaming thing) so we won't.
True, but people who don't know what shouldn't be uploaded to ticalc deserve to know that other people think they are idiots.
Ticalc.org deserves a good spring cleaning (even though its not spring) Smile

Actually, I'm beginning to be convinced it's time to abandon ticalc.org and create something new and better. This is making me more and more interested in accepting non-me programs here...
What?! Why? I think it's a great community site...
*abandon the ticalc.org archives
The quality has taken such a nosedive lately it's hardlhy even worth it anymore. Sad
Maybe it just needs a revival. It's been the cornerstone of the TI community since 1996. We can't just abandon it because they've let archive quality dip a little.
Then they need some kind of good system, like have an independent board go through and rate stuff "extraordinary", "good", and "average", then have a user option to only make say extraordinary and good visible to that user while browsing.
Exactly. Have you seen the system they have at download.com, where the CNET editor's board reviews everything so you know a sane person has reviewed the program? Something like that.
Exactly, because some of the ratings at ticalc.org seem fairly random - I admit I've rated down many a n00bs program just because I'm so frustrated with 5 billion quadratic equation solvers.
Like my 1337 Guide - both the reviews say 10/10, and yet the average rating is 6.36. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me...
Precisely. Same with DCS5 Sad
Eh, What are you going to do?
About it? Probably nothing, except maybe make the archives here public submission.
Thats a great idea! Your site can be the new ticalc Smile.
or tifreakware ^^
Thanks Kevin. Smile I really need to get back on the archives... Not enough hours in a day... Sad
Cemetech will be the new tifreakware or tifreakware will be the new ticalc.org? Very Happy
