So I think the logo might need to be freshened up a bit, not changed, just redone, especially since I don't have a big version on a transparent bg anymore.

Edit: just noticed that GIMP borked my antialiasing - Hmmm....
It looks ok. Some how, the old one looks recessed into the page...
Yeah, I know. Oh wait, I realized that't not the dithering, it's the palette that good borked.
The new one looks more or less the same. Anyways, I think you should make a compact logo in addition to the one you have now, like a C with a lightning bolt or whatnot.
You mean like the favicon I already have??
Well, I think the new logo looks a lil more defined than the old, so I say change it, and see how it looks up there. If it doesn't look right, swap it back.
As you can see, I updated the image. Now it antialiases correctly.
