Those look like characters that your computer didn't want to print.
Enable JavaScript in your browser and ctrl-F5.
Hit ctrl-F5, and all will be well.
It works now, but why does that keep happening? It's like the third time today I got gibberish in the SAX...

Try highlighting yourself by saying your name (DShiznit) somewhere in SAX or in IRC. You'll see what I added.
