Every time I try to launch gCn configured for IRC, the calc connects, then gCnclient crashes.

I don't know what any of the single-letter arguments on gcnclient.exe are for or mean, so I don't know if that could be a contributing factor.
Can you put the arguments you used for the client?
I second Qazz's question. And gcnclient.exe -h will list help for the various options.
Adding -r to the arguments seems to have eliminated all of my issues.

Stupendous. I really should make that the default, and have -r turn off persistent mode.
