Someone went to a lot of trouble, eh? Smile

The first link is the fake, and every link on it points you to a login form...
where do you report things such as that?
Very Happy That would be a phishing site. You can report it to PayPal on their [real] site.
I dunno, maybe to paypal support... I really don't like paypal anymore, as their system cost me $50... Mad

Not really, all they'd have to do is copy some files from the paypal site.
They need to rewrite all the backends too though.
Not really, all they did was link to the login page, which probably just sends them an email with their paypal information.
Fair enough. That's all they need to get, anyway. Sad
I wonder who they are......lets see how for back we trace through the directory structure Smile

http://www.bellsouth.com/consumer/inetsrvcs/index.html is their ISP
Probably just a shell account with fake info. Stupid phishers. Razz
I mean their actually internet connection is through them. I did a a couple of tracert's/
Ah. Does that help with shutting them down? ie, did you share the info with the ISP?
not yet....I reported it to both PayPal and the national site above. Ive been checking out their ISP's site, because legally they are required to remove it.
Right, right. Yay for proactive prevention of phishing! Smile
we should start a nerds for the proactive prevention of phishing group Smile

We could create fake email accounts...put the address in our signatures and then wait for a bot to pick it up....then look for phishers and take them out. Smile
I had a similar e-mail about a month ago...all of the links pointed to a UK site...
