WorldTrends has at last reached Beta 5; all planned features are fully implemented and operational. Chief among the new features is conversion to a MySQL-based system, which is much faster and more accurate that the previous log-file-based system. In addition, cloud-tagging has been improved and upgraded to work with another new feature, the Composite view that shows the sum of activity on every available news source. Various tweaks have been implemented for speed, and the help file has been updated to be more informative. Digg, comment, suggest, and enjoy!
