If I tried to post any more numbers, admin might get really mad at me for trying to post somewhere around 32 million digits worth of PI.

That is nowhere near 32 million. Besides, it cuts you off at 5000 characters.

Not much. I'm definitely going to recite all the digits of Pi I know. I know around 100.

Random fact: Pi is the name for the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter because both circumference and diameter start with Pi in Greek (περιφέρεια and περίμετρος)

Our middle school, which I no longer attend, had a digit memorizing compitition, and one of my friends studied all through the day. He got about 100 digits, if I remember.

Random fact 2.0: In Court Plantiff is usually represented by the pi symbol, Defense by the delta.

Last year, we actually ate pie in school in math, but that has stopped. I must say I never took the time to memorize any digits past 3.14159.

Happy Pi Day!

Happy Pi Day! To celebrate, I recited some useless digits I had memorized over the past years to everyone I know (obviously, that kind of lowered my social status Laughing )
I can tell not many people find it fun to memorized useless information in this forum, but oh well, I have to keep my tradition going:

Happy Pi Day!  [post="98831"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post]
Scholastic Bowl sold pies for a fund raiser today. The best part was the posters, different for each department.

Math:
"Come to Scholastic Bowl and buy arccos(-1)!"

Religion:
"And God looked at the pie he had made, and it was good."

Science...
a pie chart with black and yellow that looked like Pac-Man that demonstrated the portion of a pie that looks like Pac-Mac and the portion that doesn't (picture would make more sense, sorry)

@Luby: Ha, that's how I did 100 digits last year in time for Pi day. Fun stuff.

But really, you don't need to know that much Pi. [post="85196"]No one needs to know that much Pi[/post]. But it's still fun. :D

EDIT:
*wince
And ticalc.org has apparently forgotten Pi day. How sad.
