ticalc.org featured the game Tiny Car upon it's release yesterday. There hasn't been an 83+ game this good in a while. It's hard to play because the levels are so challenging, but trying to beat you're friends time is pretty fun. It even has a feature to play back the best lap, and the ability to archive levels from within the game. Some things could still be improved, and there are some bugs;

-Can't create you own levels. This would be a huge + for the game.
-Turning isn't sensitive enough (for sharp turns)
-MirageOS only, no big deal, but I still prefer Ion
-When you exit out of best lap playback mode, the screen isn't cleared (how'd he miss that bug?)
-Levels take up lots of space (but what can you expect?)
-No greyscale
-You can't see archived levels from within the game
-When scrolling through levels, you can only go right

I know, I'm picky. Hopefully the programmer will improve these parts of the game. Go try it out for yourself!

This game looks pretty awesome! (Seems to be getting some good reveiews too). The screenshot sort of reminds me of Spy Hunter. I really like the idea of an 'instant replay' option. How good is the playback feature?

The playback feature is really cool. It doesn't play the race you just did, so it isn't exactly a replay unless you just got the best lap. The replay looks exactly like the original race, and is a great way to show off to friends. Wink The driving itself is a lot like GTA for Gameboy, if you've ever played it.

Btw Digi, can't you play this game on VTI?

This game looks pretty sweet, but I think Gran Tourismo is awesome. Can't wait to see those bugs you listed fixed! (And a level editor added, if the author gets around to it.)

That has been made for the 83+ by Paul Marks... It is not quite that good, but it is still pretty cool...
