Wow that looks quite fun! It was funny too. Btw the first part of the song sounded like zelda.

I've always wondered when I'd see the first-ever TI game trailer. I think you're onto something here, Babyboy. We need to get someone who sounds like the guy in all the movie trailers. That'd be the coolest thing ever.

I think it's excellent the way you pulled that off—good job. :)

This song is the opening theme music to the classic Final Fantasy games.

Overall, nicely done. Wink

Too late - I've seen one before. It's was for that RPG App for 83+s...drat, can't remember the game. Animeish, the main character was MC or CM something...

Sorry that my client decided to rename me as Weregoose
(I was supposed to be Goose|Away) after every timeout.

The techniques and their explanations are littered throughout the
forum, so I'll just supply the changes without going into detail. ;)

This...

[font="courier new"]Text(1,24,"NAME"
Text(12,24,"CLASS"
Text(22,24,"H.P.
Text(32,24,"A.T.
Text(42,24,"DEF.
Text(52,24,"MGK.

...changes to:

[font="courier new"]For(X,0,5
Text(10X+2-not(X),24,sub("NAME CLASSH.P. A.T. DEF. MGK. ",5X+1,5
End

This...

[font="courier new"]Line(A,B,A+16,B,0
Line(A,B+1,A+16,B+1,0
Line(A,B+2,A+16,B+2,0
Line(A,B+3,A+16,B+3,0
Line(A,B+4,A+16,B+4,0
Line(A,B+5,A+16,B+5,0
Line(A,B+6,A+16,B+6,0
If B=22
Text(34,3,"DONE
If B=33
Text(23,3,"XTRA
If B=44
Text(12,5,"CLS
If B=55
Text(1,3,"NAME
If Ans=25
B+11→B
If Ans=34
B-11→B
If B=11
22→B
If B=66
55→B
Line(A,B,A+16,B
Line(A,B+1,A+16,B+1
Line(A,B+2,A+16,B+2
Line(A,B+3,A+16,B+3
Line(A,B+4,A+16,B+4
Line(A,B+5,A+16,B+5
Line(A,B+6,A+16,B+6
Line(A,B+7,A+16,B+7

...changes to:

[font="courier new"]For(X,B,B+6
Line(A,X,A+16,X,0
End
Text(56-B,3+(B=44),sub("DONEXTRACLS NAME",round(4/11B-7),4
B+11((Ans=25 and B≠55)-(Ans=34 and B≠22→B
For(X,B,B+7
Line(A,X,A+16,X
End

Note that the [font="courier new"]getKey value that resides in [font="courier new"]Ans at this time needs to be stored to [font="courier new"]K for this optimization to work, and [font="courier new"]If Ans=105 needs to become [font="courier new"]If K=105.

This...

[font="courier new"]If Ans=26 and B=10 and Q≠0
Then
Line(LF(1)+33,11,LF(1)+33,9,0
LF(1)+1→LF(1)
Q-1→Q
End
If Ans=26 and B=20 and Q≠0
Then
Line(LF(2)+33,21,LF(2)+33,19,0
LF(2)+1→LF(2)
Q-1→Q
End
If Ans=26 and B=30 and Q≠0
Then
Line(LF(3)+33,31,LF(3)+33,29,0
LF(3)+1→LF(3)
Q-1→Q
End
If Ans=24 and B=10 and LF(1)>(L)
Then
Line(LF(1)+33,11,LF(1)+33,9,0
LF(1)-1→LF(1)
Q+1→Q
End
If Ans=24 and B=20 and LF(2)>(M)
Then
Line(LF(2)+33,21,LF(2)+33,19,0
LF(2)-1→LF(2)
Q+1→Q
End
If Ans=24 and B=30 and LF(3)>(N)
Then
Line(LF(3)+33,31,LF(3)+33,29,0
LF(3)-1→LF(3)
Q+1→Q
End
If Ans=105
Goto N2

...changes to:

[font="courier new"]If Ans=105
Goto N2
If Ans=26 and Q
Then
33+LF(.1B
Line(Ans,B+1,Ans,B-1,0
Q-1→Q
End
{L,M,N
If K=24 and LF(.1B)>Ans(.1B
Then
33+LF(.1B
Line(Ans,B+1,Ans,B-1,0
Ans-34→LF(.1B
Q+1→Q
End

The current [font="courier new"]getKey value in [font="courier new"]Ans needs to be stored to [font="courier new"]K for this to work.

I didn't optimize all the code, but I hope this is enough to show that the straightforwardness of your code is at the cost of size, speed, and even coding time (which will become faster with more practice in optimizing). Also, I notice you stick to old habits like unnecessarily closing quotes and parentheses? Nuh-uh. Let's not do that anymore. I wouldn't want to see this game become too large to easily fit on a calculator again. Wink

windows movie maker, its cool that its built in :)

i have a few questions

what is the .1B?
does this still stop the player from going under the class minimums? (thats what the L,M and N are for)

[font="courier new"]If B=10:LF(1)+1→LF(1)
If B=20:LF(2)+1→LF(2)
If B=30:LF(3)+1→LF(3)

In each of these cases, the list item being changed is one-tenth the value of [font="courier new"]B.

As for [font="courier new"]L through [font="courier new"]N, note that I placed a list containing those variables before
the conditional statement and then compared [font="courier new"]If K=24 and LF(.1B)>Ans(.1B.

I kept the functionality the same, or at least tried to.

im trying to follow this but i am having a hard time,
.1 of 30 is different from .1 of 10 so wouldnt that raise it up at different rates?

i dont know what to say. It works, but i cant follow it at all, ive figured out a couple of things, but it hurts to try to see it.
