The previously discussed speed-coding contest will be held this Saturday at the following time:
Code:
PST 12 PM (California, etc)
-7 1 PM
-6 2 PM
EST 3 PM (New York, Florida, etc)
-4 4 PM
-3 5 PM
-2 6 PM
-1 7 PM
GMT 8 PM
CET 9 PM (most of Europe)
+2 10 PM
+3 11 PM
+4 12 AM

Remember, this competition is just for fun! It's not "officially" sponsored by UTI like the previous ASM and BASIC contests were. Hope to see ya there!

| You already know what the category is Brazucs? Does that mean that you can't participate? I'm ready for this speedness. I've been getting alot better at programming. And this "UTI Membership" gave me a little boost of confidence. I like that. |

IAmACalculator and I know it, yes. We won't be participating.
I'm out of shape, anyways. Someone dared me I couldn't program Pong in 30 minutes or less and they won :(

i have started hundreds of games but with lack of motivation they all end up in a "past ideas" folder on my desktop, never to be reopened.
i need competition or something to actualy get me to finish things. |

I am not saying using libs is bad or anything, don't want to get into it  , but I think it would show some better results without the libs in this contest.

I feel your pain brother...anytime I say I prefer not to use xLib *someone* jumps on me.
and of course I dont think there is anything with using libs...just pure Basic is more of a challenge.
