Well I'm not bragging, but I can make a mean picture on the graph and store it. It looks amazing. Haha.

At roughly 80 proof, this item is available mostly in Oceanside and dungeons where nobody cards. Aside from unlocking the spontaneous vomit skill, broken bottles from this import beverage can be used as a melee weapon. Much like grain, herb, and fruit; this is a consumable you use when you it grab. It's 100% up to gamer whether to finnnish the game witha liver func...functioning. Heh? You wanna say thaaa to ma face, bissshhh? *hic* Ow my achin' head.

Distressed by their city's high air quality and teen population, Pearl Island law requires its visitors to smoke a half carton between inn visits. The cost per pack includes an excise tax to research Oceanside's declining air quality.

Heh heh. Keeping ticalc's younger visitors in mind, tobacco and booze will not be included. The spinny thing might make a good poison ailment though.

Yeah, I thought that might be an April Fool's thing. Still would be funny, though...

Ha ha awesome. Snake in Metal Gear Solid anyone. Oh and since when are cigarettes bad for someone? Obviously I'm joking, but I hope you can find a use for some of those sprites/effects.

Dear Mr. DigiTan,

It has come to our attention that your work entitled Robot War: TI features the Air Jordans item. The item's ability to remove the speed penalties for carrying items is identical to our trademarked shoe. Permission was neither asked nor granted to use an 8-bit representation of our product, and therefore infringes on our rights. We demand that you immediately remove all infringing sprites and notify us in writing that you have done so.

I don't believe it. The guys at nike have no clue what '8-bit representation' even means. Razz (and btw, it should be 8-byte, so that pretty much sums it up Very Happy )

Uh-oh! They're on to me! Laughing

While I'm at it, I'm pleased to announced the final maps are being added today. To keep compression worries from delaying the release, only the 83+ and 84+ version will include the 5th area. Also in March, the last equippable item: "TI-nSpire" was added to the system bringing the total to 26. The last enemy isn't far off.

The next video will give a short preview of the mini-games included.

Just so you don't piss off BrandonW and others, spell it as "TI-Nspire" Razz

I was thinking exactly the same.

The final boss is the hardest to do, so good luck.

Well, things have kind of stagnated again. I think part of the problem is I stopped writing down what needs to be done. To start the summer off right, I'm gonna try what I did with the 83+ port and check this stuff off as I go. Luckily, it's so close to done, there's only 7 major tasks left to do:

Remaining tasks
[ ] All items programmed
[ ] Tile Animator
[ ] Cinematics Code
[ ] Minigame Support Mode
[ ] File management codes done
[ ] Draw order sorting (for sprites)
[ ] Alpha Tested

Bugfixes:
[ ] Object Delete Bug Fixed

Other Stats:
[ ] Levels Mapped: 5 of 5
[ ] Battle Items Coded: 20 of 26
[ ] Bosses Programmed: 0 of 5
[ ] Dialogs written: 19 of ???

The goal is to have all this stuff done by Sept 21--the official end of summer. Cool

Nice. Good to keep us updated.
Have fun coding. For me coding the final parts and see all going well is what amuses me the most in coding.

* Shudder * You don't wanna know. Heh heh.

Eh, just kidding. There could have been more progress this summer, but I'm just about ready to do the video for stage 5. The cinematics and delete bug will still take a little while.
