Just under 14 hours remaining... Don't be too late to turn in your designs!! Note: There will be no more updates after this, so be alert; if there's the slightest chance that you may forget to send it in later, then tie a string around your finger... Put a bottle cap on your nose! Just do something that will force your mind to remember the contest, whatever it takes! We're looking forward to some awesome results at the end... So, until then: Good luck to everyone! :)

Congrats! (I like the pixelated look). Too bad it was won by default though, I would have loved to see some of the other designs.

Nothing else was submitted, so this is all that we were able to see/judge! Wink

Somehow the pixelated look reminded me on those mooninites in aqua teen. Cool Except it didn't give me the finger.

Ok thanks, I can't be very proud because this was the only entry, so I'm the winner and the loser at the same time

Looks like a 5 minute MSpaint job to me. The I Heart compied from any I Heart shirt, and Z80 under it in a font that's almost, but entirely not the same font as used on the original I heart shirts.
Below that, pixelated graphics made by someone else, turned into #0000FF and blown up with very crappy anti-aliasing.
Leofox does not approve, the other designs that i've seen look much more slick to me.

I agree. I like Rezek's design a lot. It's a shame that he didn't get it in on time. Sad

I don't really like this one. Can we have an extended deadline?

I must agree with leofox. At least we can congrats him for being on time and participating!

If I would have known nobody had participated, I would have done one too! (But I don't know HOW to use photoshop...)

Anyway, Congrats Jacobbus to be on-time and to have participated to this special event!

If you don't like the winning design it is your own fault for not participating. Let this be a lesson for future contests we hold.

Contest started: August 5th
Contest ended: August 20th

Day i went on holiday: July 29th
Day i came back from holiday: August 20th

I had exactly one day to work on a design, and in that day i had no acces to my own computer, or decent image software. I must say, it's not smart to do a contest in the middle of vacation season, and make it run so short too. This contest fails.

That is unfortunate, and I'm sorry that we couldn't foresee your vacation plans. But, this contest had to be run, judged, and settled by a certain time, and that is exactly what we did. Should we also extend the ASM contest on the basis of one's being unable to participate, as well as the hypothetical circumstance that we only get one or two entries? No; and, in all fairness, it would only be unfair to most if we were to try and make it fair for everyone. The results stand.

If you hold a contest and only get 1 entry, when multiple people say they would've entered something good if they had just a little more time, posting good designs, you might want to think about what you did wrong.
