You may remember how helpful and productive he has been in his writings, or you may recall him better as the author of programs such as Cellular Automata and prgmCELTIC2. Overall, there shouldn't be any doubt that of this he is deserving: Without further ado, let us welcome Iambian to UTI Membership! I hope he enjoys the new webspace! Smile

I read on your blog that you were discontinuing celtic. I'm sad to hear that since I would love to see that delete line function fixed. but since you're working on a flash app that will include the funcions of celtic and more, I can use that when it comes out Smile .

This is not welcoming Iambian to the forums; it's welcoming him to a specific rank that you will never reach unless you quit all the spamming. Your last several posts have been meaningless, of zero contribution, and some of which have just been plain rude—adding "not being rude" in parentheses doesn't change a thing. It still was.

This is a terribly shaky start for you in the community, so I recommend slowing down and becoming more rational in order to start cleaning it up. There is a lot to be said for good etiquette (i.e., rules governing behavior). Maybe you're just being overly excited about being here, but remember that these are real people who have to read and react to your posts.

So far, it's not a very good impression.
