This is a call for collaboration! We compel you to contribute a cleverly propped camera close-up of your calc to a comprehensive collection of creative cut-outs to be used in the construction of a custom collage. The craft with which you carefully convey your calculator should communicate your character comprehensibly enough so that coherent correspondence can be accredited accordingly.

Contact jon.r.johnson (at) gmail.com with your captures, and commit it as "Calculator Collage" so that we can have a clue where it comes from. The completion of this compilation will unquestionably be a captivating accomplishment, and so we count on you to constitute it somehow. Of course, your combined cooperation is considerable. This closes at 23:59 (GMT-7) on March 31st. Get cracking! ;)

[EDIT]

The finished collage can be found here!

Does this happen to have anything to do with a new UTI banner?

Sounds like an interesting contest. Nice use of alliteration Wink I need to develop some graphic editing skills.

I think a few things need clarification. Do you have a preferred format type? This is a collage that we will make out of the picture of our calculator and not a collage of many pictures of calculators, right? What dimensions should it be? Are you looking for it to include the UTI logo?

Should our calculators have a program running? Like a cool game or something? But, this does sound interesting and fun.

Not really, no.

The higherquality the format type you use, the better, although gmail limits attachments to 10MB, keep that in mind. You submit your unique picture that captures your calculators, and anything else you wish to creatively express who you are with, and we will worry about putting it all together. Dimensions don't matter so much, as you realize the higher quality the picture the more we will be able to work with it, that said smaller is harder to work with. Inclusion of the UTI logo is not necessary, but is acceptable.

If it helps add to the creativity you're trying to express about yourself, you can, otherwise it's not needed.

In case anyone was wondering, I will also be including a photo of my entire personal collection of TI's in this activity.

Chicks dig battle wounds. Plus it adds character.

Hmm...this should be interesting. Time to think of some good photo angles.

One of the fundamental aspects here is the creativity in choosing certain physical objects that will embellish your calculator, but I'd rather that they not be digital (i.e., added in with a computer). Take a picture and send it in, but make sure it has decent lighting to begin with.

There are no constraints on which TI calculator models you can use, but I think you would rather show off your favorites. Smile

1) Do you want a picture of the screen only?

I'm pretty sure they want the whole calculator.
