I read this topic about a conform UTI splash screen that our future software releases should use. I had sort of the same idea in fact: we need a Uti symbol that serves as our mark of quality. This symbol should be used on the website, on our publications and our programs. We need something that looks good on the calculator screen even when in 12 x 12 px format.

If you thinks it's a good idea, then we'll hold a contest for this as well!

16 x 16 is more logical, at least for asm programs. On the other hand, you should be able to draw it using a TI-BASIC code, (or if you'd like to use a pic var).

We will specify desired size(s) and picture format(s) for the logo.

Crazy Idea of the Month(tm):
Idea for combining splash screen with UTI symbol.
Find a way of drawing whatever symbol we come up with in a way that looks coo. I will use my "JACstudios presents(tm)" splash screen as an example.

Code:
For(A,-47,-17
Line(26,A-3,28,A-3
Line(29,A,30,A
Line(31,A+3,33,A+3
For(B,1,25
End
End
Text(35,38,"JACstudios
For(A,24,64
Line(A,-42,A,-43
For(B,1,25
End
End
Text(57,2,"www.get-me.to/JACstudios

The "For(B,1,25):End" is for SE calc only. Remove it for a normal plus.
