iPaint is an art program for DCS6.1.2 and up. It currently only handles editing of iPaint Associated Program files, however in the works is import/export capability for TI-OS pic variables, DCS desktop backgrounds, and RIGView, as well as a standalone executable format that you can use as titlescreens.
controls:
[2nd] pixel-on
[alpha] pixel-off
[mode] pixel-change
[clear] exit menu
screenshot (for some reason this plays at about 1/2 speed):

Cool! I think it is the trend to make graphics programs...
Looks like Artistic's got competition... |

I've had this in the works for about 2 months but was waiting for various DCS bugs to be repaired to finish it up. |

Heh. Maybe I should be the Calceologist (meteorologist--see the resemblance? Not really).
So you make lines by holding down [2ND]/[MODE] and moving? Cool. |

Looks really good. That's how Picasso will function so I am glad that people like the idea of [2nd] and [alpha] instead of switching the tool and using [enter]. Nice work ElfPrince13 |

if you hold mode it will likely trigger more than once  and you can still move with alpha, it just is slightly slower.
again, there will be other tools added, so that shouldn't even be an issue anymore come next release |

MODE isn't xoring away darkened pixels, and it only darkens 1/10 or so pixels if you hold down.
ALPHA is so slooooooooooooooow.
2ND is the only thing that is really effective
But use of the mouse and DCS file thing is cool. |

Mebbe after I learn ASM better...I just looked at calc84's grayscale tunnel source, and I understood most of it, but probably never would have come up with that kind of stuff on my own.
What else are you planning to do with this? |

and add some more tools like circle, rectangle, paint bucket, line tool.
possibly text. |

I don't know if this is your issue of DSC's but if you open a project you can't save it with the same name.

I believe (?) it autosaves if you have a currently-saved file open. That's what DocDE does, anyway. In DDE, the floppy disk icon actually brings you to the Save As dialog. |

Ah, ok. You're welcome to "borrow" my code from DDE; I'm planning on GPLing it anyway. |

I suggest making the mouse less sensitive so i can move pixle by pixle easier and to finish exporting and importing to pic files. |

Just change your acceleration settings in the DCS menu if you don't like your mouse speed... |

BUt then i have to change it befor i use Ipaint and then again after. I was thinking he could set it to the slowest speed at the start of his program and then at the end change it back, and I still cant tell ithe diference in speed when I change the DCS settings. |
