Well, random encounters...hm. What do you have in mind right now (as to how to handle them)?

Once again, I am really excited that this project is still moving foward.

Well, when you move the character it will check to see if it is on a * tile, and then run the program to do the random encounter routines. It is still kinda in the air on that though. Razz

wouldn't it be easier if you put the check random encounter thing togetter with the tile checking?

if sub(str1,A,1)="*" and not(randint(0,19
prgmBATTLE

or something like that.

also in caves you will need to get into battle without walking on *.

Yeah, I know. Like I said, it is still up in the air on how I wish to proceed with that. ;)

They also use some form of equation to check and see if you encounter a pokemon.. I think.. I am gonna have to go dig through all those notes again...

100/151 compressed to paper
2/151 programmed into the calc

Edit:

134/151 sprites compressed to paper.. I wanted to finish them off, my head just hurts, my eyes won't focus... >.< Should be done tommorrow with compressing, then to put them on the calc.

Well, at this point, having asked twice if there is anything I can do to help, I can only assume that either
A. I can do nothing, there is nothing to do
B. I am incapable of doing anything
C. My help is not wanted.
D (and most likely). No one is really paying attention to what I am trying to say, possibly because I am completely incoherent.
So, to reiterate, can I help?

Its more of the fact that tifreak has things under control and is not ready for the things you are discussing, he isn't at a point where any of that matters you are looking farther ahead than what is needed to be he will handle these issues when he gets to them not long before. he isn't worried about it and he won't until the project gets farther along. So atm, no, there isn't much you can do to help other than encourage him to keep working on this awesome project.
