| I apologize that the program is edit-protected. This is all because I couldn't get my link cable to work, and found the worst possible way to transfer the file to the computer. Anyway, it should be simple enough to switch off. |

Talking about 3d tic-tac-toe, has anyone ever tried playing it mentally? As in, two people visualize the board and announce moves out loud? It's tricky, but lots of fun!  |

haha, one day during a rather boring class a friend and I came up with a 4-d tic-tac-toe game. It was absolutely impossible to imagine! It looked a bit like this:

Unfortunately, in higher dimensions you need at least a side length of 4 for the game to be interesting. Even 3D games otherwise have a simple winning strategy for the first player; in the 4D example you give, the first player can win in 4 moves.
In fact, I suspect that for any side length, there comes a dimension at which the game is trivial; with the odd-numbering sides being less interesting, of course, because they have a center spot which the first player is bound to take. |

| Yeah, we eventually figured that out. However, beyond 3d, it was just too hard to imagine anything more than a length of 3. It was funny, though, because it made the game more like chess. Utterly complicated, with the end results unknown until it's actually almost over. |
