I thought it came with the calc, saw someone using it 1.5 years ago and thought it was pretty nifty.. don't need it any more though.

Anyway, this goes to general support.

I think it's more fun to play with the calculator and figure out how things work by myself. Of course, I have my manual with me if I can't do that. (A printed one too.)

is it not in general help and support? or was it moved under my jurisdiction?

I wish the app would tell what the functions do instead of just how to use them.

it's pretty cool if you can't remember the syntaxes of the top of your head, expescially the less common ones.
i wish it was like omnicalc, where it only displays help for that item.
i also noticed if you quit wrong it can uninstall itself (odd+annoying...)

I'm sorry, you must be delusional: the calc has neither an [odd], nor an [annoying] key.

More seriously: If there's a function I don't know, I just don't bother trying to use it. I mean, I have everything I need memorised, so why bother with stuff I don't have memorised because I don't need it.

Yeah I gave it to a friend cause he wanted me to go through the catalog and tell how to do each of them and what they do. The only thing that the catalog app doesn't do is it doesn't tell what the function is just how to set it up. That kid still want me to go through the catalog and name all the function and what they do but thats no happinin'

I found it in the basic forum, hence I can only assume it started there, but it's moved now, so..

You could give him a link to the downloadable manual, explains everything and he can print it out himself.
