i finally tackled the compression, take a look at this pic:



tiles in grey are bytes i won by compressing the stuff
in this level around 65-70%, average is a bit higher Laughing

next task: decompressing stuff......

well, the idea was to write an webbased compressor, so you would be able to create your own levels whit ease

but that is no longer needed, as wabbitemu spits out the compressed .db $

Sorry, I only started to practise last week or so.

Next time I can help, though. PHP can be handy for this tasks as I am discovering.

I don't know what to do for a main menu. Mabey bubble-ish letters as 8*8 sprites?

This game looks very nice.

yea, actually i was pointing at the level select screen, there are 111 levels, als you need a good way to browse them...

il see if i can create some concepts in basic...

long time no seen :biggrin:

i finished the level selecten, updated the compression, fixed a few bugs, and made sure all levels (12 atm, 1 page app) are acutally playable.

one more week, and i will release the game, i dont really want to create 99 more levels. taking an hour or 2 each
