Hurrah! :D

Thank you, Nuf. Although I do believe frmky was working on it already...

And a huge thank you to everyone who participated in the sieving! Thanks to everyone who participated in this thread, and thanks to the 130 currently active BOINC users. This whole process went by amazingly quickly, thanks to all of your hard work (and your CPU cycles, naturally. Smile)

And thanks especially to Squalyl for organizing and hosting the BOINC project!

Now, onward! Let's finish the rest of the keys!

Yay \o/ Congratulations!

Thanks to everyone for sharing your CPUs and to Godzil for having made me think about using BOINC!

I'll add plenty of work this morning.

What polys will we add now? These one computed by Lionel seem nice:

For what it's worth, I confirmed it by signing an OS specified with key 0A and it worked! The calculator validated it!

Below is everything I used in hex:

Which key do we need next?

Also, would this be possible on an FPGA?

I believe that would be 0102, and then the less-important 02 and 010A keys.

I couldn't say about the 68k keys.

Are there any other z80 keys we're missing? Date stamp keys? Anything?

brandonw: 0102 is one of the five keys whose sieving is currently tackled by the BOINC project (under the "73FA" name) Smile
We have computed more than 50M relations on 0102, 08 (V200 OS) and 09 (89T OS) keys, so it's likely that we can successfully launch the linear algebra phase on all three keys (or if it isn't possible right now due to several hundred thousand missing relations, it will be possible in several hours).
Significant polynomial selection on 02 was performed by FloppusMaximus, see http://www.unitedti.org/index.php?showtopi...st&p=135895 .

In the next few days, we'll add at least 02, 0101 and 0103 to the BOINC project.
