Oh, is that what was going on? The way Eeems designed it, I envisioned that it wasn't pointing in any direction...more like a cube with one turret on each side, meaning the weapon would fire either east, west, north or south. Since I wasn't planning on having any structure rotations, I kind of felt that that's what Eeems was going at...
I'm confused now...

EDIT: Weregoose, Eeems is right, those are sweet! I'm not planning on any rotations, but I can definitely use one of those! Thanks!

ah well I was thinking of kind of stationary, pointing in one direction, but it can fire missles type thing, so they would kind of lock on and hit it...but in the light of the design of the one Waregoose posted
how does this look for a starbase?

Looks great!

EDIT: For everyone else out there, don't forget that if you have an idea all of a sudden, you can submit something, since I'll be picking the best images the end of September.

Whatever the case, that new starbase is even better than your old one. As for perspective, that's your choice, depending on how you think it should look. I'm good with either. Anyways, wonderful starbase!

Definitely the previous one. For research buildings, the size needs to be big anyways.

Phew...you're doing so much work, it's difficult for me to keep up with you Cool

32 * 32 is great...nothing over that size, but if all the research buildings are as close to 32 * 32 as possible, that's a big thumbs up.

I'm ending the S.A.D. designing contest early, meaning right now. Thanks to Eeems and Weregoose, I got my creativity back, so I was able to design the rest of the buildings. Also, Rebma Boss, I like your Camoza, so I will be using that design for the game.

Hey, thanks! I certainly am hoping that it will become a Featured Program/App once it's considered developed enough for it

We're working towards a test map, which will feature all the buildings, so you'll definitely see sprite work then Smile

...Well, I don't want to advertize, but This one might be quite useful. This is 'Pixel Painter' - a Software coded by my brother
I'm sure he would be pretty glad to get some feedback? Rolling Eyes

Thanks for the program, your brother did a really nice job on it and should be proud! I'll probably end up using it depending on how things go.

I'm sorry that I didn't come out right, however...rather than having trouble with programs, I was having trouble thinking of designs, I couldn't think of what something should look like.
