Hi,

I tried to install ndless on my Nspire non-cas using VirtualBox on a linux machine (XP guest OS).
Everything went fine until the reboot step, ndless gave an error message saying the usb connection was lost.

For some reason the calc didn't reboot all the way to the home screen and is now stuck after the "Loading Operationg System" stage,
with the dark background and the little clock in the middle...
If I remove a battery, the calc still gets stuck as described above during the boot process :(

USB connection is no more detected so i can't even use ndless to reinstall the OS.

Is there a key combination to get into the boot loader, or reinstall an OS by any mean ?
Os version before brick: 1.3

any help will be very appreciated, thanks.

[edit: solved by holding ON+Home+Enter+P during boot, then press '2' in maintenance menu]

Did you try removing all the batteries? The Nspire will still run with just one battery pulled, so you may have to pull them all.

I don't have a Nspire, so this is all the help I know to give. Good luck unbricking it! Smile

Yes, with the "P" key at boot time. Please refer to Ndless ReadMe file.

sam45, you may not be able to remember this, but this would help us finding out what went wrong: Did you see the message "Checking copier transfer" before the USB connection loss?
