Dear TI calculator programming community,

I downloaded TI's Flash Studio and tried to install it.

Unfortunately, it requires Microsoft's JVM.

This is unfortunate because Microsoft no longer has the JVM available for download on their website.

TI support, called "TI Cares", cannot help me and "regrets" that I can't "access" their own product.

Is the Microsoft JVM available on *this* system somewhere?

Sincerely,
- Bill

Perhaps you would have better luck with TIGCC. TI has made it pretty clear that they are not interested in helping third parties develop software anymore.

Indeed, use TIGCC-family software. Those have always been much more capable than TI's own software, except for FlashApps (not supported in TIGCC-family).
There are two members in the family: TIGCC, whose latest release 0.96 Beta 8, was more than three years and a half ago, and GCC4TI, whose 0.96 Beta 10 was released in 2009, and which contains a number of bugfixes and improvements over TIGCC.
