ThunderBolt has been promoted to the position of Global Moderator! She brings to the forum, foremost, a formidable level of calculator experience. Equipped with her keen familiarity with ASM libraries, she has explored the depths of TI-BASIC (coding everything from Mancala to Guitar Hero, to a Braille translator) and has even written a new language for the purpose of extending its capabilities.
But what should get our attention most is her honest-to-goodness willingness to stretch our imaginations and increase our potential through her own words and projects. This community was based around that principle being realized by many people, so here's a thank-you for helping us get back on the right track. Congratulations, ThunderBolt!

| Oh, thanks! That made me blush a little. I think that now that I have gone over to the assembly side (they said they had cookies!) I am going to try to make my way back to BASIC. I still plan to work in assembly and on BASIC ReCode, but I am thinking that I want to put more effort into BASIC, too. I will need to refresh my knowledge of where BASIC can be enhanced by assembly because when I finish BASIC ReCode, I do not want it to replace BASIC or Assembly. I want it to fill the gap and allow all three languages to work together. |
