I recently downgraded my nspire(non cas and older version)to OS 1.7 to download ndless. It worked at first, but after turning it on and off a few times, it came to the start up screen and just stopped responding. I can get it to load up, but when I get to the black screen wit the clock on it, it seems to stop responding and two lines appear towards the top of the screen. Even my computer doesn't register it. This issue is only with the nspire keypad. The 84+ keypad works perfectly. Does anybody know how to fix this issue? I don't mind using the 84+ keypad, but any info on getting my nspire keypad working again would be most appreciated.

K. Thanks anyway. Luckily, I still have the other keypad which was very useful today.

From what I have heard, apparently OS 1.7 isn't even supposed to have support for keypads... I actually might have heard wrong, though... I do not own an Nspire and I know very little about it, so take what I say with a grain of salt Very Happy

It doesn't support the keypad the new nspires have. All regular nspires support the 84+ keypad.

I don't think this thread will be needed anymore. I managed to fix the problem by formatting my nspire. If anyone else runs into the same problem I had with ndless, or any nspire program for that matter, just do that.

Well, I'm glad it was fixed... I hope you didn't lose anything, though.
