For those of you who aren't aware of who Jon Kyl is and what he's done to deserve riddicule, here's a quick refresher:
http://www.deseretnews.com/article/700126556/Sen-Kyl-mocked-for-making-up-numbers-in-abortion-debate.html

Quote:
Last week, as the government neared a shutdown, Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz) was speaking on the floor of the Senate about his opposition to funding Planned Parenthood because abortions are "well over 90 percent" of what they do. ... According to data from Planned Parenthood, abortion procedures account for 3 percent of their total services ... In response, Kyl's answer was that his remark was "not intended to be a factual statement, but rather to illustrate that Planned Parenthood, an organization that receives millions in taxpayer dollars, does subsidize abortions."

So Stephen Colbert has started a twitter campaign, in which participants can say anything they want about Senator Kyl, as long as they include the hash tag "#NotIntendedToBeAFactualStatement"

Hilarity ensued.

Wow. And there goes my assumption that politics is based on facts and knowledge; I had no idea that politicians would possibly bend or invent facts for their own agenda! Surprised
