I was wondering if anyone had any good links to a program I could use to do a load test on a laptop running Windows 7?
The problem is it is left on over night to listen to music while the person sleeps and when they wake up, they are greeted with the start up and recovery screen. I figure it's a heat related issue, but I want to be sure.

Prime95 is an excellent stress testing equiptment used to find mersenne prime numbers. i know it comes as part of Hiren's Boot CD, but not sure if you can find it anywhere else...

Software like speedfan should allow you to check the temps while that is running. Either way I agree it does sound like a heat issue.
