Cool. Smile

What was it that was causing the problem? Confused
Turned out to be an issue from the upgrade to phpbb 2.18. Sad
Ah. Makes a lil sense, I guess.

I am intrigued by the calc for the projects... Smile Quite interesting...
The emulator/editor, you mean? Yeah, I just need to program the complete key sequences in.
the text box editing is buggy and slow, ex. backspace key doesn't work, and 0001 just seems to show up for no reason....
lol, I am sure there is much more work to be done... Smile
Indeed. But that was no bug. Ypu're not supposed to be able to backspace line numbers; SC automatically adds and removes them.

can you have the line numbers be NEXT to the text box then? (and i could still delete them, just highlight and hit DEL Laughing )

Well yeah, delete doesn't have a scancode. Sad The problem with putting them in a box next to it would be linking the scrolling. Hmmm.....

And kirb, ik, I need to get my patch files in order.
Having a table with one side having line numbers and the other being a textbox, it should work... CSS can make a box for you that allows scrolling of the stuff inside it.

theres a demo of a text editor that has line numbers (i think the point is to demonstrate syntax highlighting, but oh well) - its open source too, so you can look over the code and see how it was done....
Very nice, that should help me.
