Broken TI-84+CE ... Please Help - Cemetech | Forum | Technology & Calculator Open Topic [Topic]

So I kinda broke my CE. I was running a program, then all of a sudden it turned off and was acting really weird. I can't connect it to my computer (TI Connect doesn't recognize it) and I haven't been able to reset it because it keeps returning to the broken stuff after I hit the reset button and turn it back on. How can I fix this?

Have you tried taking the battery pack out? That usually does a full manual reset.

Yes I have taken the battery out and replaced it, but it doesn't work.

What program were you running? That could help trace the problem. Have you tried re-sending the the OS?

I was running that new 2048 CE program, and I tried connecting my calculator to the computer but it didn't recognize it.

ok um first press ctl+delete+reset
Then resend the OS (5.1.5) with Ti Connect CE
Ive had this problem like 3 times.

What is ctl? And you have had this exact same problem with the same program?

Edit: I think you meant 2nd. I tried it and THANK YOU SO MUCH. I appreciate that a lot.
