Can the TI-84+ CE run asm programs from the TI-84/83+?

I want to run Doom on my TI-84 Plus CE Python, but afaik, nobody has ported it yet. The CE's eZ80 is backwards compatible with Z80 assembly. Could I run the TI-84 Plus version of Doom on the CE?
No, even in z80 mode, the addresses are different, the screen is different, its not just a matter of the CPU being backwards compatible.
