And, is it easier to learn than regular C?
It is possible, but I would encourage you to start by learning C, as it is much simpler and easier to both learn and code in compared to C++.
It's important to note that while the C++ language is supported on the CE, much of its standard library is not included. However, you can still call C standard library functions from C++. I also agree it's easier to start with learning C, and learn C++ later if you want to use any of its language features. It's typically not too difficult to transition from C code to C++ code.
There is currently experimental support of the C++ standard library in the EASTL branch of the toolchain, but that branch hasn't been updated in 7 months. Try it at your own risk.
