Cool. Here's a tip: take a screenie of a blank start button, and GIMP your icon on top of that, then cut it out. That blends in best.
Oh good idea! I had an image and made it transparent, but it doesn't display transparencies on the start button so I was like "uhh"
Yeah, above, remember there's no bmp transparency? ^_^
D'oh!
I feel stupid now. lol I even had my friend who's in graphics make my image transparent then convert to .bmp and neither of us caught it.
